The CCRA book club is planning another series of summer gatherings to discuss current literature and meet fellow CCRA members. We’ll end the season on Wednesday, August 26 with “Buckeye” a 2025 historical fiction novel by Patrick Ryan that follows two interconnected families in the fictional town of Bonhomie, Ohio, from World War II through the late 20th century, exploring themes of love, war, family secrets, and the complexities of small-town American life through the lives of two couples, the Jenkinses and the Salts.”

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers from the café, and all CCRA members are welcome to come – just let us know that you will do so.
