Becoming a Permanent Member at CCRA, which provides unlimited access to club amenities, is a multi-step process. Permanent membership is limited to 600 families but limited use options during the summer are offered to eligible waitlist families:

• In order to apply for membership, you will need to verify that your residence is within the club’s boundaries (see description and maps).
• Join the waitlist for permanent membership by filling out an application and paying the nonrefundable application fee. You are then on the list for limited uses prior to permanent membership.
• When a limited use is first offered, a one-time initiation fee and dues for the usage category are Rejection of a limited use offer results in removal from the waitlist.
• When a permanent membership becomes available and an offer of permanent membership is made, a one-time capital assessment fee along with the annual dues are billed. Rejection of permanent membership results in removal from the waitlist.

INACTIVE PERMANENT STATUS

This status is designed for permanent member families that are unable to use CCRA facilities due to a temporary job transfer, temporary rental of one’s home or another situation which would be evaluated by the CCRA Board of Directors. Requests for Permanent Inactive status must be made each year by emailing the Board with your reason to CCRAmembers@gmail.com by February 1. Be advised that members are allowed to be inactive for no more than three consecutive years. In addition, Permanent Inactive members may not use the pool facilities, even as a guest. To understand this category, please refer to the by-laws Article VI: Inactive Status which can be found on our website. The 2025 fee is $230.

EMERITUS STATUS

CCRA established the Emeritus category with a lower fee for individuals who have been permanent members for many years and visit the club infrequently. To qualify for this status, members must add the number of years of permanent membership PLUS the age of one member of the household (if they are at least 65 years of age). The sum must be 90 or more years. Emeritus members are entitled to 12 uses of the pool each season per person. As an Emeritus member you can bring guests.

Please note that Emeritus members must resign their permanent CCRA membership. To apply for Emeritus status please email CCRAmembers@gmail.com with your ages and date you first attained permanent membership. The 2025 fee is $340.

CCRA offers three limited uses before applicants are offered permanent membership: Partial Summer, Weekday, and Combination.

Partial Summer

Partial Summer privileges include full everyday use of swim and racket facilities from late July through pool closing. Tennis reservation service is included during the period of use. Racket sports programs sponsored by the CCRA Tennis Director Betsy Heidenberger are available, space permitting. Swim team is not available with this choice.

Weekday Only

Weekday privileges are limited to the use of the pools and vacant unreserved tennis courts on weekdays. Usage begins the day after Memorial Day. No weekend or holiday use is included. Swim team is available for those selecting this option.

Combination

This category is a combination of Weekday and Partial Summer uses. Weekday use begins the day after Memorial Day. Racket sport reservation service and weekend pool use begins in late July but those selecting Combination may play on weekdays if a vacant unreserved court is free. Privileges do not include weekday holidays (except Labor Day). Swim team is available with this category.
